Hiring Asphalt Loader Operator

Joe Riley Construction is looking for an experienced loader operator at our asphalt plant in Glenwood,MN.The position will operate a front-end loader to move and manage aggregate materials, keep plant bins supplied, maintain stockpiles, load trucks, and assist with general plant and yard operations. The ideal candidate has heavy equipment experience, works safely, efficiently, and is dependable. Experience at an asphalt plant or aggregate facility is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• ● Load aggregate materials into the asphalt plant feed bins.

• ●  Maintain and organize aggregate stockpiles.

• ●  Monitor material levels and communicate with plant operators to ensure the plant has an

  adequate supply of materials.

• ●  Operate equipment safely around trucks, conveyors, plant equipment, and other

  employees.

• ●  Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections.

• ●  Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and plant operating procedures.

• ●  Work closely with plant personnel, truck drivers, and other equipment operators to

  maintain efficient production.

• ●  Perform other duties related to asphalt plant operations material handling as assigned.

  Qualifications

• ●  Previous front-end loader/heavy equipment experience preferred.

• ●  Experience working around an asphalt plant, aggregate pit, or construction site is a plus.

• ●  Safely operate heavy equipment in a busy work environment.

• ●  Communicate effectively with plant personnel and truck drivers.

• ●  Reliable attendance and willingness to work long or varying hours during the paving

  season.

• ●  Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• ●  Valid drivers license.

Joe Riley Construction is seeking an experienced and motivated Asphalt Paving Estimator & Salesperson to join our team.

This position is responsible for developing estimates and proposals, working with customers, identifying project opportunities, and helping grow our asphalt paving business.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Experience in asphalt paving, construction estimating, sales, or related field

• Ability to accurately estimate asphalt paving projects and prepare competitive proposals

• Proven knowledge of asphalt paving operations, materials, and production

• Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships

• Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and field crews

• Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and dependability

Hiring Truck Drivers

We are seeking a reliable Highway Heavy Truck Driver to transport materials to and from construction and paving job sites. This position involves hauling hot mix asphalt for paving projects, as well as gravel, aggregate, and other construction materials using heavy trucks and trailers. Drivers will safely load, transport, and unload materials while following all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and project schedules.
